One of my favorite experiences in this whole process of creating and pitching TV shows is getting to learn from some of the best producers and executives we have in our industry. Ironically, one of the things I’ve learned is that no matter how much an artist (Writer/Creator) wishes to look at the “suits” as a necessary evil in the path to delivering their inspired vision to the masses, a majority of executives in our industry have a very keen sensibility for choice and execution… two of the most important skills of any writer and creator of story or format.  It’s also fun to learn about their process, and how they perceive the path of producing that we’re all on.
